About

Danielle Venhuizen
MS, RDN, CLT

My goal is to help you make sense of what you eat, whether it's targeted at a health concern or just for general wellness.

A little about me...

I've been a Registered Dietitian for over 15 years now and have been in private practice for the past 13 years.

I have two super sweet boys who are quickly becoming teens, yikers! Where has the time gone? But they are lovely humans with super diverse palates (all those kiddo feeding tips really work!) and love adventure.

When not in the office or carting my kids to soccer practice, you can probably find me out hiking or backpacking.

In fact, my boys and I completed the 93-mile Wonderland Trail in 2022. That was a special experience I will never forget.

Otherwise, you might also see me out running in West Seattle, baking or eating muffins, or reading travel books for our next family adventure.

Who do I see?

I work as a generalist in many respects (I see people with a wide range of health concerns!), but over the course of my 13+ years in practice I've come to really love digging into:

  • Complex gastrointestinal issues (IBS, GERD, SIBO, Crohn's, Ulcerative Colitis)
  • Food sensitivities (using the MRT test)
  • Helping people steer towards a Mediterranean or anti-inflammatory style diet

*Please note that I do not work with eating disorders, but happy to provide referrals if you are looking for someone in that area.

I would love to meet you if you think we'd be a good fit. Feel free to reach out with any questions!
